Fact of the day: It was on 20 May 1874 that Levi Strauss patented his blue jeans with copper rivets.Then on this day in 1920, the Montreal Quebec radio station XWA broadcast the first regularly scheduled programmes in North America. In 2001 Bill Hewlett of Hewlett Packard died.
