Fact of the day: On 11th March 1897, a meteorite entered the Earth\'s atmosphere and exploded over New Martinsville, West Virginia. Damage was caused by the debris, but nobody was injured.

Point to ponder: The height of the Eiffel tower is 300.51 meters (986 feet) without the television antennas. This height varies by +/- 15 cm depending on temperature.
