Fact of the day: It was on this day in in 1905 that Clarence Zener was born. He undertook work into the electrical breakdown of materials and gave his name to a form of voltage reference diode. Then in 1913 that the Ford Motor Company introduced the first moving assembly line. The chassis assembly time of their cars was reduced from 12 hours down to 2 hours, 40 minutes.
